Job summary

MacKillop Family Services is expanding its Foster Care Recruitment program across Queensland, seeking a Service Support Officer based in Maroochydore to organize administration, events and reporting. The role supports recruitment objectives for the Sunshine Coast and Central Queensland.

You will work within the Queensland Foster Care Recruitment Team under the National Leader, Foster care Development, contributing to a growing program that helps place children in safe, nurturing homes.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal culture awareness and trauma-informed understanding as described inSelection criteria.
• Experience in administration, office coordination and operational support with accuracy.
• Experience managing financial processes, reporting and admin systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience coordinating events, training or community engagement activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database/reporting systems.
• Proactive and flexible, able to work independently and in a team.
• Relevant qualification in Business Administration or Community Services, or equivalent.

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Foster Care Recruitment program.
• Coordinate office tasks, events and reporting across the region.
