Job summary

Air Navigator is seeking an ICT Network & Systems Administrator based in Nundah, QLD, Australia. The role focuses on Fortinet firewall security, VPN management, Azure-based Windows Server deployment, and Veeam backup for Microsoft 365.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and VPNs.
• Strong knowledge of network security, threat detection, and access control.
• Experience deploying and managing Windows Server environments in Microsoft Azure.
• Automation of tasks with PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
• Experience with Veeam backup for Microsoft 365.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure Fortinet firewalls and security policies.
• Oversee VPN solutions across sites.
• Monitor logs, investigate incidents, and respond to threats.
• Audit firewall configs and apply timely updates.
• Plan, deploy, and manage Azure virtual Windows Servers.
• Manage patching, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Automate deployments using PowerShell/Azure CLI/ARM.
• Administer Veeam backups for Microsoft 365.
• Document configurations, backup procedures, and reports.
