Job summary

Fortinet seeks a Technical Account Manager (NV1) to be the primary contact for dedicated accounts in Australia. You will provide technical solutions, reproduce customer environments in labs, and coordinate with R&D to resolve product issues.

Strong networking and security background required with ongoing client communications. Applicants should have 6–10 years in technical support for networking/security, NV1 clearance, and knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and security technologies.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in technical support for networking/security
• NV1 clearance is required
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing and switching
• Experience with Firewalls, End point protection, IPSec VPN, RADIUS/LDAP/UTM
• Windows/Linux/Unix administration knowledge is a plus
• Solid understanding of Web app concepts, security and vulnerabilities
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for the dedicated account
• Provide technical solutions to customer issues
• Manage and prioritize customer incidents for timely resolution
• Reproduce customer environments on lab equipment
• Coordinate with R&D to resolve product issues
• Track and close incident reports and support requests
• Create technical docs and bulletins to support knowledge base
• Provide guidance on new releases and features
• Develop best-practice deployment and troubleshooting guides
• Conduct periodic site visits for managed accounts
• Exercise independent judgment in methods and evaluation criteria
