Active Forklifts Australia is recruiting a Field Service Technician to service forklifts and access equipment across Greater Brisbane. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of machines, providing quality customer service on site and in the workshop where required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with forklift or heavy equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair software and hardware issues on site.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance across customer sites with a focus on safety and quality.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage your own patch of customers.
• Assist in workshop repairs and support other service techs as needed.
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster per company policies.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and trouble shoot software and hardware issues.
• Provide various repairs, maintenance and diagnosis on a variety of equipment across various customer sites, ensuring great customer experience and safe repairs.
• Demonstrate customer service and communication skills while looking after your own customer patch.
• Be able to assist in repairs of units in the workshop and assist other service techs as required.
• Participate in our after-hours on call service roster for any after-hour issues in accordance with company policies and industrial agreements.
• Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts and access equipment.

What You'll Bring:

• You will have a mechanical background, ideally having worked on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive. If you have experience working with hydraulics and or pneumatics, that's highly desirable. We're looking for Technicians who have a positive attitude to work, enjoys servicing and maintenance work and is willing to go the extra mile and become a valuable member of our Active Forklifts Australia team.
