Forkbiz is an Australian owned forklift company with branches in Sydney and Brisbane. We’re seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Western Sydney operation from the Minchinbury branch, running day-to-day workshop and field activities.

You will oversee technicians, service and maintenance programs, quoting, invoicing and KPI adherence, while coordinating with parts and hire teams to minimise downtime.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in service management or senior supervision in forklift or similar industries.
• Trade qualification in Mobile Plant or related field is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of LPG, diesel and electric forklifts across brands.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Commercial awareness including quotes, budgets and KPIs.

Our customer base ranges from small companies with one forklift to the large multinational companies with large fleets, to which we maintain, repair and service to the highest quality both onsite and in our workshop. We also have a fleet of our own forklifts we hire both long term and short term.

The role

We’re looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our Western Sydney service operation, based at our Minchinbury branch. You’ll run the day-to-day across the workshop and the field. That means keeping technicians productive, jobs on schedule, customers informed and the hire fleet in top shape. It’s a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows forklifts and knows how to run a team.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in a service management or senior supervisory role in forklift, materials handling, mobile plant or a similar industry
• Strong technical background; a trade qualification (e.g. Cert III Mobile Plant Technology, Diesel or Auto Electrical) is highly regarded
• Solid understanding of LPG, diesel and electric forklifts across multiple brands
• Great people leadership and communication skills
• Commercial awareness, including quoting, budgets and KPIs
