Job summary

H&G Hardware & General is seeking a reliable, hands-on team member to join our Dural yard and warehouse team. This role involves operating a forklift, handling building materials, loading/unloading deliveries, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Experience is helpful, but the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety matter most. Applicants with a current LF forklift licence or willingness to obtain one are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights, without restrictions.
• Current forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to lift/move materials up to 25 kg.
• Building materials or warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to get involved.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and safely handle building materials.
• Load and unload deliveries and vehicles.
• Receive, sort and allocate incoming stock.
• Pick, prepare and dispatch customer orders.
• Monitor stock and report shortages or damaged goods.
• Work across the yard, warehouse and store as required.
• Support the team to keep daily operations running efficiently.
