Job summary

Hardware & General in Dural is seeking a reliable, hands-on team player to join our yard and warehouse team. This role focuses on forklift operation, safe handling of building materials, loading/unloading deliveries, and preparing stock for dispatch.

Experience is valuable but the right attitude and safety mindset matter most. A current forklift licence (LF) or willingness to obtain one, and full Australian working rights are required. Training and genuine career progression across Sydney await.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operating a forklift and safely handling building materials

Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles

Receiving, sorting and allocating incoming stock

Picking, preparing and dispatching customer orders

Monitoring stock and reporting shortages or damaged goods

Working across the yard, warehouse and store as required

Supporting the team to keep daily operations running efficiently

What We’re Looking For

You may not have experience in every aspect of this role, and that’s okay. We can teach you many of the practical skills. We’re looking for someone who brings the right attitude and takes pride in their work.

Full Australian working rights, without restrictions

A current forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one

Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 25kg

Building materials or warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential

Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to get involved

A team player who communicates well and supports others

Able to work independently, follow instructions and manage priorities

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
