Hardware & General in Dural is seeking a reliable Yard & Warehouse Worker to join our local team. You’ll handle forklift operations, load and unload deliveries, receive and sort stock, and dispatch customer orders while supporting daily operations in the yard, warehouse and store.

We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on team player to join our Dural yard and warehouse team.

This is a practical, active role suited to someone who enjoys working with building materials, supporting customers and keeping operations running smoothly. Experience is valuable, but the right attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to safety matter just as much.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating a forklift and safely handling building materials
• Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles
• Receiving, sorting and allocating incoming stock
• Picking, preparing and dispatching customer orders
• Monitoring stock and reporting shortages or damaged goods
• Working across the yard, warehouse and store as required
• Supporting the team to keep daily operations running efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• You may not have experience in every aspect of this role, and that’s okay. We can teach you many of the practical skills. We’re looking for someone who brings the right attitude and takes pride in their work.
• Full Australian working rights, without restrictions
• A current forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one
• Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 25kg
• Building materials or warehouse experience is an advantage, but not essential
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and willing to get involved
• A team player who communicates well and supports others
• Able to work independently, follow instructions and manage priorities
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
