Job summary

Labourforce is recruiting for a Cold Storage facility in Prestons, NSW for All round Storeperson / Forklift Operator roles. Morning and afternoon shifts available, immediate start, 5AM or 1PM starts, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Role involves high-reach forklift operation in -28°C environments, stock replenishment, picking/packing, unloading/loading trucks, and general warehousing duties. Requires LF licence and Crown High Reach experience; RF scanning beneficial.

Qualifications

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience on Crown High Reach forklifts is essential.
• 2 years minimum experience in a similar warehousing role.
• Experience with High Reach forklifts and double deep putaways required.
• Experience in a freezer / cold room environment highly desirable.
• Must be physically fit and have reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach forklifts in a -28°C freezer environment.
• Operate Electric Pallet Jacks where required.
• Stock rotation, replenishment, picking and packing.
• Wrap pallets using pallet wrapping machines.
• Load and unload trucks and perform general warehousing duties.
• Assist with day-to-day operations beyond forklift duties.

Cold Storage - High Reach Forklift Operators

Ourclient, a Leader in theCold Storage and Distribution industrycurrentlyhave vacant positions available forAll round Storeperson /Forklift Operatorto join their team:

DAY & AFTERNOON SHIFT Available located in Prestons.

Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast-paced working environment is essential.

Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands-onrole assisting with the day-to-day operations which will include picking / packing, putaways, replenishment, loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse.

Morning shifts start times are5AM (8-hourshifts) Monday to Friday.

Afternoon shifts start times are 1PM (8-hourshifts) Monday to Friday.

IMMEDIATE START for the right applicants.

Pay Rate is $44.47 per hour + allowances.

The role involves; but will not be limited to:

• Operation ofForklifts- High Reach
• Working in a -28 degrees freezer environment
• Operation of Electric Pallet Jacks (where required)
• Highreach double deep experience is MUST (Minimum 12 months)
• Stock rotation and replenishment
• Picking and packing orders
• Usage of pallet wrapping machines
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• General warehousing duties
• Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role, youMUST:

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience onCROWNHigh Reachforklifts aMUST !!!
• Previous experience with 7- 9 bays high
• Have minimum 2 years' experience within a similar industry or role
• Previous experience with High Reach Forklifts and double deep putaways aMUST
• Experience within a freezer / cold room environment highly desirable
• Great communication skills both written and verbally
• Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
• Have yourOWNreliable transport
• Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
• Be reliable and punctual
• RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
