Job summary

TRP Recruitment seeks experienced Forklift Operators for cold storage environments. You will perform high reach operations, pallet putaways and bulk picks in -27°C conditions, using RF scanners and manual handling as required.

Roles are ongoing with potential for permanent employment. Flexible shifts include AM start at 5:00am and PM start at 1:00pm, with freezer allowances and competitive hourly rates for reliable, safety‑mocused operators.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid forklift licence.
• Experience with double-deep High Reach equipment is essential.
• Comfortable operating at height and in freezer environments.
• RF scanning and picking experience is required.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach forklift for putaways, replenishments and bulk pallet picks.
• Perform double-deep High Reach operations as required.
• Handle counterbalance tasks including loading and unloading.
• Work in freezer environments down to -27°C.
• Work across cross-dock, chiller and freezer areas.
• Conduct case picking using RF scanners and utilize tugger when needed.

Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for an ongoing role with a reputable company and the opportunity to secure permanent employment?

We are currently seeking experienced operators with double-deep High Reach experience who are comfortable working in freezer environments and operating up to 7 bays high.

Please note: This is a hands-on role. You will be required to get on and off the forklift throughout the shift, so we are looking for reliable all-rounders who are comfortable with physical work.

The Role

• High Reach forklift operation including putaways, replenishments and bulk pallet picks
• Double-deep High Reach experience is essential
• Confident operating up to 7 bays high
• Counterbalance operation including loading and unloading
• Working in freezer environments of up to -27°C
• Working across cross-dock, chiller and freezer areas
• Case picking using RF scanners
• Tugger operation and manual handling as required
• Monday to Friday ongoing work
• $44.86–$51.14 per hour + $2.16 per hour freezer allowance + OT!!
• AM Shift: 5:00am start
• PM Shift: 1:00pm start
• Cold storage equipment provided
