Job summary

OzStaff is seeking motivated Cold Storage Pickers to join our team in a freezer environment (-23°C). You will be involved in picking, loading, and forklift operations at our client’s facility, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience or capability to work in a cold/freezer environment.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely in chillers and freezers.
• Reliability and ability to commit to regular rosters.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (counterbalance and/or reach) and electric tuggers safely in chiller and freezer environments.
• Load and unload trucks and containers, and move pallets between docks, racking and staging areas.
• Put away and replenish stock accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Pick and assemble orders to meet dispatch deadlines.
• Conduct pre-start checks on equipment and report any faults or damage.
• Maintain stock accuracy and handle product with care to protect temperature-sensitive goods.
• Follow all WHS, food safety and site procedures, including correct use of PPE and freezer gear.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and free of hazards.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily productivity and safety targets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Own personal Freezer Gear preferred
• Reliable transport and able to commit to Monday to Friday rosters
• Experience working in a cold environment is essential
