Job summary

Manpower Australia is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Production Worker to join our carrot processing and packing team. This hands-on role blends forklift duties with production and packing tasks in a busy facility.

You will move carrot bins, bag produce, sort by size, label and dispatch goods, and help maintain a clean, safe workplace. Ideal candidates hold a current LF forklift licence, have experience operating forklifts safely, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) is required.
• Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliability.
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator / Production Worker to join our busy carrot processing and packing operation. This is a hands-on role that combines forklift duties with general production and packing tasks in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a forklift to move carrot bins from the production line to storage and delivery areas
• Placing carrots into bags from the production line
• Sorting and grading carrots by size for packaging
• Labelling bags and preparing products for dispatch
• Washing and cleaning carrots as part of the processing operation
• Assisting with general production and packing duties
• Working effectively as part of a team
• Manual handling and lifting of up to 20kg when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong teamwork skills
• Reliability and a positive attitude
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks

Safety & PPE Requirements

Full supervision is provided onsite, and all employees must comply with workplace safety requirements.

The following PPE is required at all times:

• Earmuffs / hearing protection
• High-visibility clothing
• Fully enclosed safety footwear
