Job summary

Manpower Australia is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Production Worker to join our carrot processing and packing team. This hands-on role blends forklift duties with production and packing tasks in a busy facility.

You will move carrot bins, bag produce, sort by size, label and dispatch goods, and help maintain a clean, safe workplace. Ideal candidates hold a current LF forklift licence, have experience operating forklifts safely, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) is required.
• Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliability.
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move carrot bins from the production line to storage and delivery areas.
• Place carrots into bags from the production line.
• Sort and grade carrots by size for packaging.
• Label bags and prepare products for dispatch.
• Wash and clean carrots as part of the processing operation.
• Assist with general production and packing duties.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Manual handling and lifting up to 20kg when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
