Job summary

Exodas is seeking a hands-on team member for the Yatala Head Office to safely load and handle a diverse range of freight, including frozen and general goods. This full-time role requires working with others to ensure freight is loaded, secured, and handled with care.

You will apply knowledge of load restraint equipment, demonstrate strong time management and communication, and contribute to a safety-focused, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of load restraint equipment and techniques.

• Experience with general and/or refrigerated freight is highly regarded (training provided).

The Role

Exodas is a well established and growing transport and logistics company that has been operating the East Coast of Australia for 24 years carrying general and refrigerated freight between Mareeba/Cairns and Melbourne.

We operate depots/yards in Melbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Yatala (Head Office), Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.

Yatala | Full-Time Permanent

Based at our Yatala Head Office, you'll play a key role in safely handling and loading a diverse range of freight, including:

Frozen and chilled food products

Fragile and general freight

Freight across tautliners and refrigerated vans

This is a team-focused, hands-on role - not just forklift work. You'll be working closely with others to ensure freight is loaded, secured, and handled with care.

Monday to Friday (5.30am to 1.30pm)

About You

Solid understanding of load restraint equipment and techniques

Strong time management and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

High level of attention to detail

Legible hand writing

Experience with general and/or refrigerated freight (highly regarded but will train)
