Job summary

Wickham Freight Lines is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator - All rounder to join our team at the WFL Sydney Terminal, located in Arndell Park. This permanent, full-time role starts at 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday with weekend overtime when required.

You will load/unload trucks, liaise with the logistics team for paperwork, and ensure loads are properly restrained while adhering to safety procedures. Flexibility for varying hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Adhere to workplace safety requirements and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks using a forklift.
• Coordinate with logistics for paperwork.
• Ensure loads are properly restrained.
• Couple/uncouple trailers and move trailers to docks.
• Follow safety procedures and plant rules.

Wickham Freight Lines is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator - All rounder to join our team at the WFL Sydney Terminal, located in Arndell Park. This is a permanent, full-time position with a start time of 9am Monday to Friday (weekend overtime).

Duties will include:

• Load/unload trucks with operation of Forklift
• Liaise with logistics team in regards to paperwork
• Ensure loads are properly restrained
• Coupling and uncoupling trailers
• Trailer movements including reversing trailers onto docks on occasion
• Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment

Skills and Experience:

• You'll need to be hands on with a 'can-do' attitude
• Ability to follow instructions to ensure work is completed in a timely mannerAbility to work within a team environment
• Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times
• Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
• Willing to undertake Drug and Alcohol testing
• Flexibility with working hours including potential weekends as required
