Fuse Recruitment is seeking a Forklift Operator in NSW, St Marys area, on a consistent Monday–Friday day shift from 6:00am to 2:00pm. You will join a two-person forklift and strapper team, handling a variety of freight with advanced AI-assisted load assessment.

The role involves loading/unloading B-doubles and containers, RF scanning, and ensuring axle weight compliance. Immediate start and temp-to-perm after 6 months are available.

Formación

• A current and valid LF Forklift Licence.
• Previous forklift operating experience in transport or logistics.
• Strong counterbalance forklift experience (Hyster experience advantageous).
• An understanding of load restraint and axle weight management.
• RF scanning experience.
• Experience loading and unloading B-doubles, semi-trailers, rigids and containers.
• Experience handling a variety of freight, including oversized, irregularly shaped, long-length, general and non-palletised freight.
• The ability to manually handle freight weighing up to 20kg.
• High Reach forklift experience (advantageous for picking and putaway duties).
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team.

The Client

Our client is an established transport and logistics operation specialising in the movement of general, oversized and specialised freight. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency and innovation, they operate a busy distribution facility supported by modern technology, established processes and a close-knit team environment.

About the Role

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring freight is loaded, unloaded and handled safely and efficiently across a busy transport operation.

Working as part of a team of approximately 15 forklift operators, you will help manage the daily movement of freight across 15 B-doubles and 45 local PUD (Pick Up and Delivery) runs.

This is a hands-on role involving a diverse range of freight, including 3PL freight, oversized and irregularly shaped items, and lengths of up to 6 metres.

The operation uses advanced AI-assisted technology to photograph and assess every load, helping ensure safe loading practices and axle weight requirements are maintained.

You won't be working alone! Each forklift operator is paired with their own dedicated strapper, meaning you'll always work as part of a two-person team.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Loading and unloading B-doubles, semi-trailers, rigids and containers.
