Job summary

Impact HR Group is assisting a family-owned Australian textiles distributor in Brisbane to find a reliable Warehouse Operator. You will manage receipt, storage and dispatch, ensuring stock accuracy and on-time order fulfillment.

Key duties include receiving and checking inbound stock, picking and packing orders, recording batch numbers, forklift loading/unloading, and supporting stock takes in a fast-paced environment. Day shift with on-site parking and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Desirable warehousing or logistics experience.
• LF ticket with 1–2 years high-reach or counterbalance experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and store inbound products per manifests.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders; attach labels.
• Record batch/lot/roll numbers on pick slips; support stock takes.
• Load/unload vehicles with forklift; maintain workplace safety.

About the Role

We're seeking an organised and reliable Warehouse Operator to manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role is key to maintaining accurate stock and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and safely.

• Receive, check, and put away inbound products in line with supplier manifests
• Pick, pack, strap, and prepare customer orders for safe transit
• Cross-check, quality check, and sign off orders prior to dispatch
• Record batch, lot, roll, and item numbers accurately on pick slips
• Load/unload vehicles and containers with Forklift
• Label and store products correctly in nominated locations
• Support stock takes and inventory checks
• Assist in the cut room and with other ad hoc warehouse tasks as required

The Successful Candidate:

• Previous experience in warehousing or logistics (desirable)
• Valid LF ticket with minimum 1-2 years High reach or Counterbalance experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to lift/move stock safely
• A team player with good communication skills
