Job summary

Bulla Dairy Foods in Colac is seeking casual forklift operators to join our Operations team. You will be responsible for the collection and transport of raw materials, packaging and finished products across our Hearn Street site, using RF scanners and ensuring accurate stock movement.

Successful applicants will work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon and overnight shifts, with penalty loading and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Has a current LF Forklift Licence to operate forklifts safely.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift driving experience in a similar setting.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and complete daily work instructions.
• Collect and move materials and products across processes and to storage areas.
• Use RF scanners to scan and track inventory accurately.
• Record daily stock counts and support warehousing activities.
• Assist with loading/unloading of product vans.
• Support safe chemical storage and general site movements.
• Participate in waste collection and disposal processes.

We currently have exciting opportunities for Casual Forklift Operators to join our Operations team. Reporting into the Production Lead, you will be responsible for the collection and transportation of raw materials, packaging and finished products from suppliers, storage and delivery facilities at our Hearn Street site in Colac.

Successful applicants will be required to work on a rotating roster across multiple days and shift times including.

• Morning 6am-2pm
• Afternoon 2pm-10pm

Pay:

• Rates from $37 per hour
• Additional penalty rates and allowances including 15% loading for the afternoon shift and 30% loading for the overnight shift apply!

What's the Scoop?

• Obtain and complete daily work instructions
• Collect and move materials and products to, between and from processes including transporting to freezers / cool rooms, transporting materials from storage facilities and collecting materials from suppliers
• Use RF scanners to scan and track inventory accurately
• Recording daily stock counts
• Unload and loading of product vans
• Chemical storage and movements around site
• Waste collection and disposal

What You’ll Bring:

To be successful within this role you must hold acurrent LF Forklift Licence, and have 2 years previous Forklift Driving experience, ideally within a similar environment.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to comply with all standards in relation to Occupational Health & Safety Regulations, Hygiene, Quality Assurance and Conduct.
• Working in a team environment
• Previous warehousing experience is desirable but not essential
