Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of goods received, moved, and dispatched.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Assist with inventory management and stocktaking as required.
• Coordinate warehouse activities through effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and comply with housekeeping standards.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate movement, stacking, and storage of goods within our facility, ensuring that our distribution processes run smoothly and meet our operational targets. This role is essential to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver quality service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, lift, stack, and transport goods throughout the warehouse
• Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage
• Arrange and organise stored items in the warehouse according to established systems and company procedures
• Maintain accurate records of goods received, moved, and dispatched
