Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Customer Service Operator - Forklift Driver based at our Lonsdale trade store. You will support daily distribution activities, hand unload plasterboard as needed, and service customers face-to-face and over the phone.

The role requires unrestricted Australian work rights, a valid forklift licence, a pre-employment medical and police check, and a willingness to perform general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
• Deal with customers face-to-face & over the phone
• Picking & packing orders daily
• Regularly check & make up orders
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork with due diligence
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles
• Maintain operational equipment and report faults/damage
• Record and report customer complaints to Trade Stores Manager
• Assist with stock takes / inventory counts
• General warehouse duties & housekeeping

• Ability to work from the Lonsdale site full time (Mon-Fri - 6:00am - 2:00pm or 7:00am - 3:00pm)

About the Role

As a Customer Service Operator - Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Lonsdale trade store.

Some tasks as part of this role include:

• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
• Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
• Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis
• Regularly check & make up orders
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
• Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
• Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
• General warehouse duties & housekeeping
