Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver at Tarneit to manage distribution activities and daily store operations. The role involves face-to-face and phone customer interactions, hand unloading, picking/packing, stock checks, and general warehouse duties.

The position reports to the Trade Store Manager and requires a forklift licence, fitness for manual handling, and pre-employment medical. Australian work rights are required.

• Valid Police Check
• Valid forklift licence
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical

Responsibilities

• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider
• Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
• Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis
• Regularly check & make up orders
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles
• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
• Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and/or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
• Assist with stocktake/inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
• General warehouse duties & housekeeping

Job description

• Prior experience within the Distribution & logistics Industry is highly desirable
• Located in or near Tarneit

• Ability to work from the Tarneit site full time (Mon-Fri – 6.00am-2.00pm)

About The Role

As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Tarneit trade store.
