Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver at our Lonsdale trade store. You will handle daily distribution tasks, unload plasterboard, pick and pack orders, and assist customers face-to-face and by phone.

You will report to the Trade Store Manager, work full-time Monday to Friday, and must have unrestricted Australian work rights, a valid police check and forklift licence. We offer $34.00 per hour, super, parental leave, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience within the Distribution & logistics Industry is highly desirable.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Full and Unrestricted Australian working rights – visa sponsorship not offered.
• Valid Police Check.
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider.
• Dealing with customers face-to-face & over the phone.
• Picking & packing orders daily.
• Regularly check & make up orders.
• Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while due diligence.
• Loading/unloading customer vehicles.
• Maintain operational equipment and report faults.
• Record and report customer complaints via Knauf procedures.
• Assist with stock takes to maintain accurate records.
• General warehouse duties & housekeeping.

About the Role As a Customer Service Operator – Forklift Driver you will report to the Trade Store Manager, where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Lonsdale trade store.

Some tasks as part of this role include:

Hand unloading plasterboard as an offsider

Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone

Picking & Packing orders on a daily basis

Regularly check & make up orders

Receipt goods & checking off paperwork while maintaining due diligence

Loading/unloading customer vehicles

Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management

Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures

Assist with stock take / inventory counts process to ensure accurate inventory records are maintained

General warehouse duties & housekeeping
