Job summary

Rix Asset Maintenance is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to join our team across NSW, overseeing geotechnical stabilisation works and rope access operations. You will manage drilling, anchor installation, grouting, rock bolts, mesh, shotcrete and related activities, ensuring safety, productivity and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have IRATA certification (preferred), white card and a valid driving licence, with at least 3 years in ground engineering or civil infrastructure and

Qualifications

• IRATA Rope Access Certification preferred.
• White card required.
• Driving licence required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in ground engineering / civil infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience supervising rope access teams.
• Experience in slope stabilisation, scaling, rock bolting, or geotechnical works.
• Mining site experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rope access safety procedures and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of rope access crews including subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment.
• Ensure that plant, equipment, staff and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions and meet environmental, safety and legislative requirements.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and permit systems.
• Conduct risk assessments, pre-work safety checks and equipment inspections.
• Oversee installation of ground support systems including rock bolts, mesh, and shotcrete preparation.
• Monitor work quality and productivity of rope access teams.

Rix Asset Maintenance is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to join our team in NSW, supporting a number of slope stabilization projects across the civil, mining and infrastructure sectors throughout New South Wales.

Full time positions available with projects located across New South Wales.

About the Role

As the Site Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of geotechnical stabilisation works including various Drilling operations, Anchor installation, Grouting, Anchor testing, Rock fall netting and catch fence installation, Steel fixing, Formwork, Concrete, Shotcrete, and Scaling.

This role requires a strong leader who can lead and manage rope access construction teams while ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervision and coordination of rope access crews including subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment
• Ensure that plant, equipment, staff and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions and ensure that all operations meet the environmental, safety and legislative requirements
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
• Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and permit systems
• Conduct risk assessments, pre-work safety checks and equipment inspections while ensuring compliance is within industry standards
• Oversee installation of ground support systems including rock bolts, mesh, and shotcrete preparation
• Monitor work quality and productivity of rope access teams
