Journey Supports is a Melbourne-based specialist behaviour support provider delivering ethical Positive Behaviour Support to people with disabilities. The role focuses on forensic and complex presentations with autonomy and senior clinical governance.

Based in Brunswick East, it requires a minimum of 15 hours per week in-office time to support collaboration, case conferencing, and team meetings, with a strong emphasis on rights-based practice and advocacy for participants.

Formación

• Active NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration (Core/Proficient/Advanced).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant discipline (e.g., Psychology, Allied Health).
• Experience delivering NDIS behaviour support services with complex presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments using evidence-based methods.
• Develop, implement, and review Behaviour Support Plans.
• Reduce restrictive practices and maintain required documentation.
• Support participants with complex mental health and forensic involvement.
• Provide training and consultation to staff and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external services.
• Maintain high-quality data, reporting, and governance.
