Job summary

Boral Asphalt is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee asphalt laying operations across Rockhampton and the surrounding region. You will lead the asphalt crew, drive performance while maintaining safety, quality and operational excellence, and coordinate daily works with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

As Foreman, you will develop the crew, manage scheduling, and build strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.

• Proven experience leading asphalt crews in a Foreman or similar role.
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Your next opportunity:
Boral are on the lookout for an experienced Foreman to oversee our Asphalt laying operations across Rockhampton and the surrounding region.

Your primary responsibility in this role will be to lead our Asphalt Crew, driving team performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.

As a Foreman, you'll play a key role in developing your crew, coordinating daily works and delivering projects that help keep Central Queensland moving.

Your day will involve:

• Leading, managing and mentoring an asphalt crew to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget
• Coordinating daily operations, including labour, plant, materials and scheduling
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with site and company requirements
• Monitoring quality throughout paving activities to deliver exceptional outcomes
• Building positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Supporting crew development through coaching, training and leadership

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience leading asphalt crews in a Foreman or similar position
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Valid Australian Driver Licence
• Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
