St Patrick's College Townsville is seeking an organised, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our community as a Food Technology Assistant, commencing Term 4, 2026. This is a part‑time position with a minimum 15 hours per week, additional hours available based on operational requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our dynamic Food Technology Faculty and contribute to engaging, practical learning experiences for students. Working collaboratively with teaching staff, you will play a key role in ensuring classes are well‑prepared, safe and effectively resourced, while also supporting catering and food preparation requirements across the College.

About the Role

As the Food Technology Assistant, you will provide practical and operational support to the Food Technology Faculty. You will be responsible for preparing resources for practical lessons, maintaining kitchen facilities and equipment, managing stock and supplies, and supporting catering and hospitality activities across the College.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare and coordinate resources for Food Technology and Hospitality classes.
