Job summary

Sacred Heart College in Geelong is seeking a reliable Classroom Assistant for Food Technology to provide practical and operational support to our program. The role is 0.4 FTE (part-time) with Fridays required, involving preparation of ingredients, equipment and learning spaces, while maintaining a safe, well-organised environment.

You will work closely with teaching staff to support hands-on lessons, manage resources, and promote good food safety practices in a dynamic school setting.

THE POSITION

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Classroom Assistant - Food Technology to provide practical and operational support to our Food Technology program.

• Commencement: As mutually agreed with the successful applicant.
• Employment Type: Ongoing, part-time (0.4 FTE)
• Working Days: Must include Fridays

Working alongside our teaching staff, the successful applicant will assist with the preparation of ingredients, equipment and learning spaces to support the delivery of practical Food Technology lessons.

The position also involves maintaining a clean, safe and organised learning environment, managing resources and stock, and supporting food safety and hygiene practices.
