Job summary

Estia Health on the Sunshine Coast is hiring a kitchen team member to prep meals, keep kitchens clean, and help create menus in partnership with residents. You'll be on your feet most shifts and play a key role in delivering safe, nutritious food.

Applicants should have kitchen experience, a Basic Food Handling Course, and good time management. We value compassionate team players who want to enrich residents' lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work, preferably in aged care.
• Completion of the Basic Food Handling Course is required.
• Strong time management and planning skills.
• Ability to work as part of a supportive team to deliver quality meals.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink.
• Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.
• Changing up the menu with our team and residents to create meals that cater to every individual.
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.
