Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare food and drinks for residents, assist with menu changes, and maintain a clean kitchen environment. The role requires adherence to food safety records and active involvement on your feet throughout shifts.

Experience in kitchen work is valued, with Basic Food Handling certification preferred. You will join a supportive team in a community-focused aged care setting that emphasizes care and wellbeing for residents and their families.

About the Role

You'll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do.

• Prepping food and drink
• Cleaning (including dishes) - you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
• Changing up the menu. You'll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift

You'll be a real team player who has:

• A real desire to make a difference in people's lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
