Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a motivated kitchen team member to support food preparation and meal service in our aged care settings across Australia. You will help create meals with residents, maintain cleanliness, and assist with menu changes while upholding Food Safety standards.

We value genuine care for residents, good time management, and teamwork. The role involves standing for long periods and working in a collaborative kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus).
• Great time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink.
• Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one.
• Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.
