Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a hands-on kitchen assistant in Victoria to support daily meal preparation for residents. You will prep meals and drinks, assist with menu changes, and ensure cleanliness and safety across shifts.

This role values teamwork, time management, and a passion for delivering quality resident meals. Applicants should have completed the Basic Food Handling Course and be comfortable working on your feet in a busy aged care kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Duties include prepping food and drinks for residents.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and dishwashing.
• Assist with menu changes and portion control.
• Maintain records as part of the Food Safety Program.
• Stay active on your feet throughout shifts.

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
