Job summary

Estia Health is seeking kitchen team members to support our Brisbane homes with meals and resident-focused dining. You will prep, plate, and refresh menus, while keeping food safety records and staying active throughout your shift.

We value a genuine desire to make a difference, kitchen experience (aged care is a bonus), and strong time management. Completion of the Basic Food Handling Course is required.

Qualifications

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus).
• Great time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink.
• Cleaning (including dishes).
• Changing up the menu and creating meals with residents.
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.
