Job summary

Estia Health in Victoria is seeking a Casual Kitchen Team Member to support daily meal preparation, food safety, and resident satisfaction. You’ll prep food, clean, and assist in adapting menus with the team, while staying active on your feet.

We value caring on-site, reliable scheduling, and a willingness to learn; Basic Food Handling is preferred and experience in aged care is a bonus. Join a community focused on enriching lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work; aged care is a bonus.
• Great time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

About the Role - Casual

You’ll wake up each morning wanting to see people enjoy food as much as you do.

• Prepping food and drink
• Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
• Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course
