Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a casual Dining Assistant to support high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You will assist with meal prep, plating, and serving while ensuring dietary needs are met and dining areas remain clean and inviting.

Ideal candidates will hold a Food Handler's Certificate, be reliable, and enjoy working in a compassionate team. Australian working rights and a willingness to obtain required screening are essential.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Certificate is preferred.
• Reliable and adaptable with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

About the Role

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your contribution will play an important role in enhancing residents' comfort, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen hygiene standards
• Engage positively with residents during mealtimes

What We're Looking For

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Handler's Certificate
