Job summary

Estia Health in Australia is seeking a hands-on kitchen team member to help prepare food, keep areas clean and support residents with meals. You will work with our team to create meals that cater to individual needs and maintain our Food Safety Program records.

You should have kitchen experience, be on your feet most of your shift, and have completed the Basic Food Handling Course. We offer benefits such as Blue Light Card discounts, wellbeing support, and novated leasing.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work; aged care experience is a bonus.
• Good time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drinks.

• Work with the team/residents to adapt menus to individual needs.
• Keeping records as part of the Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of the shift.

About the Role

• Prepping food and drink
• Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
• Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift

You’ll be a real team player who has:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
