Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking casual Food Service Assistants for St Hilary’s in Morwell, VIC. You will assist the Head Chef with hands-on kitchen operations, delivering meals and supporting dietary requirements for residents.

Join a team focused on compassionate care, continuous training, and a strong culture of respect. This role offers flexible shifts across mornings and afternoons, on-site at the Morwell residence.

Qualifications

• You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.
• Police check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
• Experience in residential aged care is desirable

We’re currently welcoming new residents at St Hilary’s in Morwell and have casual opportunities available for experienced Food Service Assistants! These are flexible roles spanning morning and afternoon across weekdays and weekends.

THE ROLE

Assisting the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, hands‑on kitchen operations aligned with each resident’s specific dietary requirements.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
• 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility (Desirable)
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
