Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is inviting applications for casual Food Service Assistants at Coasthaven in Norlane, Geelong. If you’re dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of senior Australians, this flexible role offers morning and afternoon shifts across weekdays and weekends, with comprehensive training. You’ll support the Head Chef, deliver meals, follow Food Safety guidelines, and build relationships with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate.
• 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility (Desirable).
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail.
• Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Proof of working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role.

THE ROLE

Assisting the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, hands‑on kitchen operations aligned with each resident’s specific dietary requirements.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.
