Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is hiring casual Food Service Assistants at St Hilary's in Morwell, VIC. The role focuses on delivering meals, supporting food safety standards, and building positive relationships with residents and families.

Flexibility across mornings and afternoons, weekdays and weekends, with ongoing training, a values‑driven culture, and access to employee wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate.
• 12 months' experience in a residential aged care facility (Desirable).
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Proof of working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals across the residence.
• Support the home in line with service standards and Food Safety Program Guidelines.

THE ROLE

Assisting the Head Chef to deliver high-quality, hands-on kitchen operations aligned with each resident's specific dietary requirements.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

ABOUT YOU

You're reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Relevant Industry Training - Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
• 12 months' experience working in a residential aged care facility (Desirable)
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Flexible and positive - comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
