St Vincent’s Health Australia in Maroochydore is seeking a Food Service Assistant to join our aged care team. You’ll help prepare and serve meals, support residents, and maintain a clean dining environment at our 130-bed facility on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

The role offers permanent part-time or casual shifts (0700-1400 or 1400-2000), with a focus on delivering friendly, professional service while complying with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals.
• Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and cleaning.
• Provide welcoming, professional and supportive service to residents.

About the role:

As 1 of our friendly Food Service Assistants ,you’llbe part of an experienced and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming,professionaland supportive care experience for the residents of ourMaroochydore facility. We are located in the heart of Sunshine Coast, which is within walking distance of restaurants and boutiques alongDuporthAvenue, the Sunshine Plaza shopping centre, theMaroochyRSL, Maroochydore Rotary Park, and theMaroochyRiver. Our 130-bed facilityisa modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct on Queensland’s famed Sunshine Coast.

Things that work for us:

• Ability to work on apermanent part-time basis (orcasual basis)
• Commitment to cover AM (0700-1400) and/or PM (1400-2000) shifts, Monday to Friday
• Previousexperience in a similar roleassistingin the preparation and serving of meals
• Assistingwith food service duties including setting tables, cleaningdishesand cleaning
• Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
• Previousexperience in a similar role, desirable
• Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
• Current or willing to apply for a NDIS Worker Screening Check
