Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a kitchen team member to help prepare meals and beverages for residents in our aged care homes. You will work with residents and staff to create appealing menus that meet individual needs, while maintaining food safety and hygiene.

Daily duties include food prep, cleaning, and helping keep the menu fresh and interesting. The role suits someone who is energetic, reliable and values teamwork in a supportive care environment.

Qualifications

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives.
• Great time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drinks for residents.
• Cleaning and dishwashing duties.
• Changing up the menu with residents and team.
• Keeping records as part of the Food Safety Program.
