Estia Health is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare meals and beverages for residents, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. You will collaborate with a caring team to deliver nutritious, appealing menus that respect individual needs and preferences.

The role emphasizes timely food service, accurate record-keeping under the Food Safety Program, and active engagement with residents and colleagues. Prior kitchen experience is desired, with aged care familiarity as a bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work; aged care experience is a bonus.
• Strong time management and planning skills.
• Team player with care for residents.
• Basic Food Handling Course completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drinks for residents and staff.
• Cleaning tasks including dishes and kitchen areas.
• Changing up the menu with team to suit residents’ preferences.
• Keeping records as part of the Food Safety Program and procedures.
• Staying active and on your feet during shifts.
