Job summary

Farmfresh Fine Foods in Queensland is seeking experienced Food Production Operators to join our Bundaberg and Wide Bay Burnett team. In this casual role, you will help operate production lines and support the efficient daily manufacture of a diverse range of vegetable products.

You will work with a safety-first mindset, follow GMP and WHS protocols, support equipment maintenance and cleaning, and report any production or quality issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar food production or manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate various production equipment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and food safety.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing production requirements and schedules.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and manual handling.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate various food processing equipment to prepare, manufacture, and package a variety of vegetable products.
• Adhere to strict quality control, GMP, WHS and food safety protocols throughout the production process.
• Food safety training will be provided on-site to ensure compliance with all relevant protocols and regulations.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and work areas.
• Participate in pre-operational checks, cleaning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and report production, safety, or quality issues to supervisors.
• Complete production paperwork and basic production records accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient day-to-day production operations.
• Perform other duties as required to support the overall efficiency of the production facility
