Job summary

Bidfood is seeking a full-time line process operator to join our cheese and chemical production facilities in Yatala, Queensland. You will work as part of a team to meet daily production targets within a busy factory environment.

The role runs 6:00am–6:00pm with rosters varying to meet production needs. Candidates should be able to follow instructions, stay neat and hygienic, and handle materials safely. Forklift licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/food production preferred.
• Ability to work in a factory environment with attention to safety.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.

There are several positions for a skilled and adaptable full-time line process operator across our cheese and chemical production facilities, both located in Yatala.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be required to work full-time as part of a team to ensure daily production targets are achieved.

This role operates within a factory environment that runs between 6:00am and 6:00pm. Rosters may be scheduled at any time within these operating hours, depending on production requirements and business needs.

Duties:

• Setting up the production line
• Operate production and packing equipment.
• Pack, label and palletise finished products.
• Prepare and move raw materials for production.
• Follow production instructions and daily targets.
• Carry out product changeovers and cleaning.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.

Skills and Experience:

• High standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene
• Able to work methodically, accurately and neatly
• Physically fit
• Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
