Job summary

Urbun Bakery is seeking process workers and dough makers to join our busy wholesale bakery team. The role involves weighing, mixing and shaping dough, and operating industrial ovens and proving cabinets at our Wetherill Park facility near Sydney.

We offer permanent shifts with early and late options from Monday to Friday, with some overtime and flexibility required. A stable, family-owned environment focuses on continuous development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in weighing, mixing and shaping dough.
• Ability to operate bakery machinery safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, mix, mould and shape dough.
• Operate industrial proving cabinets and ovens.
• Troubleshoot quality and production issues as they arise.
• Communicate and report production and warehouse issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of bakery, equipment and work area per HACCP.

Our busy wholesale bakery is based in Wetherill Park, West of Sydney. Due to the expansion of our business and strong growth, we are looking for process workers and dough makers to join our team.

As the leader in supplying milk buns to Sydney's best restaurants andcafes, we are proud of our products and the dedicated team that makes it all possible.

Several permanent shifts are available. These are

Monday to Friday 5.30am to 1.30pm

Monday to Friday 1.30pm to 9.30pm

Some overtime and may be required, so flexibility is key.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Weigh, mix, mould, shape dough

Operate industrial proving cabinets and ovens

Problem solving of quality and production issues when they arise

Communicate and report issues with the production and warehouse supervisor

Maintain cleanliness of bakery, machinery and equipment according to HACCP guidelines

Follow personal and food hygiene principles

Work in accordance with OHS regulations

Other duties as required
