Job summary

The Langham Melbourne is seeking a customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendant to join our luxury team. You will provide professional service, advise guests on menu and wine pairings, and upsell to enhance guest satisfaction.

Applicants should have at least 1 year in a fast-paced hospitality environment, a valid Victorian RSA, and a Food Handler’s certificate. Availability across day, evening shifts and weekends is required; own transport is preferred.

Qualifications

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Be familiar with food and beverage service etiquette, serving all food and beverage in a professional manner and to the required standards.

The Requirements Are

• Current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Current Food Handler’s Certificate / Hygienic Practices for Food Safety Certificate.
• Experience in a similar role in a luxury environment.
• Sound beverage knowledge including and not limited to grape varieties, sprits, liqueurs etc.
• Full availability up to 36 hours per week including weekends, public holidays,.
• Own transport prefereable.
• Ability to work across day, afternoon and evening shifts as required by the outlets.
