Holiday Inn Express Sunshine Coast in Maroochydore is seeking a friendly, energetic Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team. You will deliver warm, efficient service across breakfast, bar, and guest dining areas, ensuring outlets are clean, well-presented and welcoming to every guest.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in food and beverage service, café, restaurant, bar, or hotel operations highly regarded.
• Friendly and professional communication skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

About the role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering warm, efficient, and professional service across our food and beverage outlets, including breakfast service, bar service, and guest dining areas.

You’ll help ensure our outlets are clean, well-presented, and operate smoothly while creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
• Adhere to WHS policies and hotel procedures

Qualifications & experience

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
• Experience in food and beverage service, café, restaurant, bar, or hotel operations highly regarded
• Friendly and professional communication skills with a guest-focused approach
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Experience using POS systems preferred
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
• Flexible and adaptable work approach, including weekends, public holidays, and varied shifts
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate preferred
