Quality Blooms Co is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic Floral Merchandiser to maintain and present floral products across our retail locations in Queensland, Australia. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys working with flowers and delivering high quality displays.

You will manage stock at customer sites, refresh displays, monitor freshness and presentation, and collaborate with the team to ensure consistent, saleable presentations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refresh floral displays to ensure an attractive and appealing presentation.
• Receive and handle floral stock at customer locations.
• Monitor product quality, freshness and stock levels.
• Identify products that require attention, improvement or removal from sale.
• Rework and reassemble pre-made bouquets where required to improve their presentation and saleability.
• Maintain displays, shelving and promotional areas.
• Ensure products are handled and presented appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area.
• Communicate stock, quality and customer-related issues to the appropriate team members.
• Follow company procedures and safe work practices.
• Available to work shifts on Monday - Friday (potentially Saturdays), early morning starts.
• Expected hours roughly 25-30 hours/wk

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Floral Merchandiser to join our team, maintaining and presenting our floral products across our retail customer locations.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with flowers, takes pride in presentation and product quality, and can work independently while managing their time effectively.

Previous experience in floristry, floral retail, merchandising, wholesale or a similar environment would be advantageous. However, we are also interested in candidates with a genuine interest in floral products, a willingness to learn and a positive, proactive approach to work.

About the Role

Working across our designated retail customer locations, you will be responsible for ensuring our floral products are well presented, fresh, well maintained and ready for sale.

Your duties will include:

• Maintaining and refreshing floral displays to ensure an attractive and appealing presentation.

• Experience handling and maintaining fresh products.

Formal floristry qualifications are not essential, and candidates with relevant transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
