Job summary

Swillhouse is seeking a confident Venue Manager to lead the floor at Restaurant Hubert in Sydney's CBD. You will own day-to-day operations, shaping service standards and ensuring a memorable guest experience.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage rosters, coach team members, and collaborate to drive performance while maintaining calm, clear leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, service flow and guest experience.
• Ability to mentor and develop emerging leaders within the floor team.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor operations during service, setting the tone and pace of the venue.
• Act as the senior on the floor, ensuring smooth, confident service delivery.
• Uphold and evolve service standards reflecting the brand’s character.
• Manage rosters, labour planning and daily staffing decisions.
• Coach and develop section staff to strengthen the team over time.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to drive operational performance and guest experience.
