Job summary

Armidale Hotel will be the town's new social hub and is operated by Feros Hotel Group. As part of our opening team, you will welcome guests, seat customers, take orders, and help create memorable experiences in a lively setting.

Roles include serving beverages, processing payments, restocking glassware, and ensuring RSA compliance while supporting responsible gaming where applicable. Weekend, night, and public holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• RSA Certification is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused approach.
• Able to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
• Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating customers.
• Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables.
• Taking orders and processing payments.
• Preparing beverages and cocktails.
• Washing and restocking glassware.
• Monitoring RSA and supporting responsible service.
• Attending to gaming machines and payouts (Gaming roles only).

The Role

As part of our opening team, you'll be the face of Armidale Hotel - welcoming guests, creating memorable moments, and bringing the venue to life.

Depending on your role, your day-to-day will include:

• Greeting and seating customers
• Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables
• Taking orders and processing payments
• Preparing beverages and cocktails
• Washing and restocking glassware
• Monitoring RSA and supporting responsible service
• Attending to gaming machines and providing payouts(Gaming roles only)

Specialized Gaming or Bar & Cocktail roles require prior experience.

What is needed to be successful in this role?

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)- Mandatory requirement
• Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) - Gaming positions only
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously when required
• Ability to work a flexible roster
• Ability to work in a diverse team in a busy environment
• Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency

Please note that you must be available to work on weekends, nights, and public holidays.
