Job summary

dnata catering & retail at Perth Airport is seeking a Flight Assembly Supervisor to oversee the assembly and packing of inflight meals, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. You will lead teams, uphold quality standards, and drive efficiency in a high‑volume aviation catering environment.

The role requires supervisory experience in food production, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of food safety and HACCP.

Qualifications

Experience supervising food production, manufacturing, or high‑volume operations.
Strong leadership to manage and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisation, planning and problem-solving abilities.
Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP and compliance standards.
Experience rostering and resource planning in busy settings.
Ability to handle competing priorities and tight deadlines.
Lean/Six Sigma experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Supervise day‑to‑day assembly and packing operations.
Ensure flights are packed accurately and delivered on time.
Monitor workflow, productivity, and labour allocation.
Lead, coach, and support team members to achieve targets.
Assist with rostering and tracking production timings.
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and WHS standards.
Identify issues and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with Production, Compliance, and Logistics teams for audits and reporting.
